The Forgotten Sun is a 3D Third Person Hack and Slash. The player takes control of K’iin, former Mayan Empress that has been resurrected by the Sun God (Kinich Ahau) tasked to defeat the Death God (Ah Puch) that has broken the cycle of life and death and impede doom! Use magical abilities granted by the Sun God to complete your task.
This is a game I worked on while at Vancouver Film School during my Sound Design for Visual Media Program. It was a collaboration with the game design program, where had 4 months to create the game. I lead a team of 3 other students to create all the sounds and communicate between both teams. I also recorded, edited, processed, and implemented all the dialog and edited and implemented all the music. It was a really fun project to work on and collaborate with the game design team to come up with the mechanics and feeling of the game.
